Landscape of My Dreams!
A fun session with kids as young as five! In this one-on-one session with a seven year old Crickett who did this modern landscape by instructions using watercolor pencils on watercolor paper.
Instructions: Draw lines across the paper to divide them into several plains that divide water, land, air and incorporating rocks on earth and objects flown by the wind. The lines and drawing need not have to be exact and perfect. Draw and color using watercolor pencils. Use brush to paint and spread the color. When dry (around 5 minutes) embellish using glitter glue. And done in an hour! This can be used as a lamp (use canvas sheet and roll to made a shade for a hanging lamp) or printed as a textile design to be made into a bag, or printed on shirt or card for that personalized look. The objective is to expand a concept and meaning into visual forms.
