What's In Your Hand?

    Earth
. . . rich soil unmarked by pesticides and fertilizers
taken from Heaven's (name of my place) compost pit!

    Air
. . . spirits of ancestors vainly kissing the palm of my hand . . .

     Fire
     . . . . lighting the way to wayward souls and whining people . . .

   Water
. . . after doing the weekly cleaning.

Q: Jason asked me why is it that even with a laundrywoman I still do my own washing?
A: I only wash my undies and the dogs stuff which I think is not included in the laundrywoman's task ;-)

The 'What's In Your Hand?' project is part of another creative exchange from friends living in Europe and Asia. Jason, the project head in London, added another Q to the search:

What's In Your Hand and Heart At The Moment?
. . . is what fell in my palms when I opened it heavenwards: a fruit bud from the neighbor's balimbing tree (starfruit or carambola), one of my favorite fruits plus it's free! My heart and mind at the present is what comes to my life as I affirm it. Only the truth. The meaningful. And the surreal sphere of what was and the reality of IS from heaven. . .
