This is the first solo show of comic book artist and award winning creative director Apol Sta. Maria that features 17 sequential black and white oil paintings appropriating the wit and narrative of comic books and their format of panels, speech balloons, and even advertisements.

Antonio recalls the visuals of print where words race across pages to concretely communicate one's thoughts. This series springs from the pieces on craft paper he exhibited earlier this year for Liongoren's Pares-pares exhibit.
