The exhibit combines the Nihonggo word 'gen' which is roughly translated to 'now' and the Filipino word for now 'ngayon' is an exhibit of works by Japanese and Filipino artists which combine the various forms of artistic media where the artists weave connections between shared artistic practices and histories of the two countries.
