I know it is not easy for children ages 6 to 9 to draw and capture the color and beauty of these dolls but I wanted them to appreciate this beautiful craft of Russian nesting dolls which their grandparents have in their collection. The following works simply took the words right out of my mouth. The children's works are simply beautiful and I hope that after this one-hour session, they will look at those beautiful dolls with new eyes!
