in most of my workshop modules is a visit to an artist's
studio where they see the how, what, and where of
artmaking. The summer of 2005, I brought my community
scholars to the studio of noted painter/printmaker
Fil Delacruz whose studio is one of the best in our area.
The students were treated by actual demonstration on
etching and saw the works in progress of Fil (a great
preview of paintings for his forthcoming exhibit!)
