Drawing and painting a doll is like doing a portrait. And doing portraits for 8-year old Sandhya is a challenging task since she gets impatient with her colors. But when she does portraits she takes her time. Look how she did the details of the dress and the chair! This doll comes with a collection of books (I will update this as soon as I remember the name of the doll and the book series. Haha) and the book is a helpful tool since Sandhya can narrate to me the story while she is drawing and painting which took only an hour. From this first painting, we did several paintings of this doll using the doll's other gorgeous clothes, accessories, etc.
