My students 9yo Stella and her 5yo brother Georg decided to recycle the masking tapes we used in our painting exercise into washi tapes. They had so much fun so they decided to paint more using the extra paints on their plates!

Funding the Future @MCAD

2018 marks the 10th anniversary of MCAD. The Museum, which is part of the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, is a free, not-for-profit institution that delivers programming and content that encourages engagement with art and culture, its practice and production, as well as its presentation and interpretation.

Having established a distinct identity and developed a regional presence, the Museum must continue to evolve and develop its programming to create an innovative and inclusionary paradigm where “free access for all” addresses not only a cross-section of social classes, but also of knowledges.

All funds raised from the sale of donated works will support the launch of five new programmatic incentives and continue our ambitious exhibition program over the next three years.

Funding The Future is on view at Leon Gallery's brand new space, G/F Corinthian Plaza along Paseo de Roxas, Legazpi Village, Makati City. We are open from 10.00am to 7.00pm daily.

Auction — 8th September 2018

The ‘under the hammer’ auction event will take place from 2.00pm – 6.00pm on Saturday 8th September 2018 at Leon Gallery, Eurovilla 1, Rufino corner Legazpi Street, Legazpi Village, Makati.

Complete artist list, artwork and bidding details are available on our website: http://www.mcadmanila.org.ph/funding-the-future/.
